Letting Go: Why it’s so important!

WOW!

Who would have thought just how important it is to have the ability and conscious mind set to “continuously improve your ability to LET GO“.

It seems that the more “in tune” we become the more important it is to consciously be aware of our thoughts, feelings, attitude and mindset!

You may have heard the phrase “what we think, we create” and if only you knew just how relevant that is, perhaps you would spend more time clearing your thoughts and speaking less.

It has come more apparent to me that as the energy changes on earth and our vibrations increase, that our creations are projected by our light, positivity and beliefs.

If you are thinking negative, speaking about the past and always running some type of fear then its more relative now than ever, that your path will be somewhat harder than it needs to be.

If you are doing the work and consciously focusing on letting go and being in the now, then your path going forwards will be much easier as you are projecting light, love and positivity into it.

I guess the easy way to look at it is this…. If you currently have a “hard or negative situation going on” and each day you keep telling yourself how hard it is, or how tired you are or how it’s never going to end and get stuck in the “story of it”…..

You are projecting all that negativity already onto a negative situation; therefore you are making it twice as hard on yourself.

Whereas if you accepted the hard or negative situation and then started to look and focus on ways to improve and change it, then you are projecting light and positivity into it.

When you put light into the dark, the darkness will become weaker and the light stronger.

It is also important that when you choose to make steps forward that you don’t attach anything from the past to it.

Example:

If you start a new job and in your previous job you had a bad experience, it is almost second nature as a human to be very fearful or worried that the same experience is going to occur in your new job!

However if you start to add energy of those thoughts or previous experience, you are automatically bringing the energy from the past into your future and putting in an attachment (connection) to it!

When you do this, you must be very careful because you are not starting with a blank canvas or fresh piece of paper, you are putting in some holes in it which you will then have to repair before you even start.

Its like building a new house and putting in an unstable foundation that at some point you will have to fix later.

Now why on earth would you want to do that to yourself?

Wouldn’t it be great to start with a strong and clean foundation, a clean canvas or a blank sheet of paper?

That’s a question that you should ask yourself because it does take work to become conscious of your thoughts, creations and your projections!

Remember “what you think, you create”. You are responsible for your life, your choices and your current situation.

This is why it’s imperative to “Let Go” every day, every moment of anything that no longer serves you!

Hope this helps you in some way and if you want to share it, please do.

If you have any questions, please ask, regards Anjie.

Want Freedom ?

Want Freedom?

You have to do the work!

freedom

In my life I’ve had many ups and downs, I’ve never fit into society and I’ve had my heart absolutely shattered by 3 people that claimed they totally loved me and I was the one for them!

But everyone has a story, you can play poor me, you can get stuck in the drama or you can do the work!

People ask me why I don’t do readings for people and the truth is I got sick and tired of people paying me money “so they could hear what they wanted to hear”, sure they left feeling great, but did it really change their life, did it make a positive impact! Hell no!

The secret to success in regards to your own personal/spiritual development is to be willing to

“Do the work on yourself for yourself”.

There’s no point dishing out money and hoping that at the end of the session it’s all going to be fixed. There’s not point buying something to make you feel good (coz that only lasts temporarily).

The real turn around in your life is when you literally have the balls to turn around and look into yourself.

To Love and Acknowledge everything about yourself, the good, the bad, the sad and the parts you don’t like!

Once you can do this and you can own all aspects of yourself, there is a level of love and freedom that is yours to keep.

Why?

Because you did the work, you owned it, you felt the pain and worked thru it, you turned the dark into light!

Darkness always comes before light. So if you want to become light, you need to face the dark!

Strong woman don’t hide, they stand and they deal!

This is why I created Solaz Scents for your Soul because the “Power of the Scents” work with you.

You set the intention, you do the work, you get the benefits and you get empowered and its so bloody simple and the results are inspiring!

Now who doesn’t want to be empowered, independent and strong!

Want Freedom?

YOU have to do the WORK!

P.S I am forever grateful for the Transformation blend“. I remember having a massive vent to a friend about the toxic relationship I was in and how I needed it to be over!  Well I didn’t know it at the time, but I lit the candle after that vent and the next day everything came head to head and I began to walk away from that toxic relationship and I never went back!

I worked with the Scent & Myself and I Transformed!

You can do it too!

Why Women Need A Tribe

Can Sisterhood be one of the most powerful tools for Women’s Health?

Female friendships are just a hop to our sisterhood, and sisterhood can be a very powerful force – Jane Fonda

In ancient times women shared a lot more than they do today. They shared the caring of their babies, the gathering of food and they all cooked together. The women and the children shared their lives much more intimately than we do today, and they were a source of strength and comfort to each other on a daily basis.

For example: You may have heard of Traditions like the Red Tent – This is where women came together during menstruation to be together, often with synchronised cycles and it became a beautiful time for nurturing, sharing women’s stories and keeping each other strong and happy!

In todays society,  women are a lot more isolated in their own homes and live more separate from each other. The opportunities for coming together are much more limited and the time spent together in this way greatly reduced due to modern lifestyle demands.  Because of this women miss the beautiful healing and nourishment that comes from spending time being with each other.

Natural Nurturer’s

Women are natural nurturers, empathic givers and it’s vital for them to receive and be nourished as the continual giving out ends in depletion, an increasingly common health problem.  Only women instinctually know how to nourish each other, and just being with each other creates a healing environment.

The Power of Female Friendship

The true benefits of friendship are immeasurable and often intangible. Friends make our lives better and studies show that friendship has a bigger impact on our physical and psychological wellbeing than family relationships [1]

Women share a special bond becuase they bare their souls to each other, support and encourage one another. The author Louise Bernikow said:

Female friendships that work are relationships in which women help each other to belong to themselves.

The power of female friendships has also revealed some of its secrets to science. Researchers have found that the hormone oxytocin is, for women especially, the panacea of friendship and, by extension, health.

How Friendships reduce Stress

A landmark study has found that women respond to stress differently than men. This fact has significant health implications. When people experience stress, the fight or flight response is triggered and releases hormones such as cortisol. Oxytocin – a hormone studied mainly for its role in childbirth – is another hormone that is secreted by both men and women in response to stress. In women, it buffers the fight or flight response and encourages them to protect and nurture their children and to gather with other women.

Drs Laura Klein and Shelley Taylor refer to it as the “tend and befriend” pattern [2], and it happens with not only humans, but also the females of many species. When we actually engage in tending or befriending, even more oxytocin is released, further countering stress and calming us down. Until fairly recently many research studies on stress focused on males, Taylor said. “Women were largely excluded in stress research because many researchers believed that monthly fluctuations in hormones created stress responses that varied too widely to be considered statistically valid.”

Men produce high levels of testosterone when they’re under stress, and according to Dr Klein, it reduces the calming effects of oxytocin. They are therefore more likely to deal with stress with aggression (fight) or withdrawal (flight). A woman on the other hand, produces estrogen that enhances the effects of oxytocin and compels them to seek social support.

Aggression and withdrawal take a physiological toll, whereas friendship brings comfort that diminish the effects of stress. “This difference in seeking social support during stressful periods is the principal way men and women differ in their response to stress, and one of the most basic differences in men’s and women’s behaviour,” Dr Taylor said. This difference alone contributes to the gender difference in longevity.

A 2006 breast cancer study found that women without close friends were four times as likely to die from the disease as women with 10 or more friends. And notably, proximity and the amount of contact with a friend weren’t associated with survival. Just having friends was protective. [3]

Sisterhood

Jane Fonda, activist and actress says: “Friendship between women is different than friendship between men. We talk about different things. We delve deep. We go under, even if we haven’t seen each other for years. There are hormones that are released from women to other women that are healthy and do away with the stress hormones. It’s my women friends that keep starch in my spine and without them, I don’t know where I would be. We have to just hang together and help each other.”

Fonda and her close friend Lily Tomlin did a TED talk on the importance of female friendships, and likened women’s friendships to a renewable source of power:

It’s because our friendships – female friendships are just a hop to our sisterhood, and sisterhood can be a very powerful force, to give the world … the things that humans desperately need.
